interchange design (geometric design)


    dynamic alignment design of interchange is the main function of the first version of hintcad software, so interchange design is always one of its most salient and most competitive core functions of hintcad. from the common simple exit-entrance interchange to multi-level cloverleaf interchange whose main feature is rapid conversion of traffic flow, the designers can complete design flexibly and efficiently by hintcad software, fully playing their creativity. now the majority of the domestic large-scale design enterprises select hintcad to complete their interchange design.
hintcad software can import, convert and utilize the longitudinal and cross sectional basic data from the dtm and many other sources taken by field work. based on the electronic topographic image, users can directly carry out ramp horizontal alignment design, longitudinal profile design, roadbed design, cross section design, mass hauling, culvert design, retaining wall design, design survey and construction stakeout, automatic drawing of all related design output (graphics and tables).

  

   interchange horizontal alignment design of hintcad is developed for the interchange ramp alignment layout, which firstly introduces dynamic dragging mode into ramp alignment design in 1996, making complex ramp alignment design very efficient and flexible by combining the element method with constraining conditions at beginning and the end of the ramp alignment. hintcad apply interchange design idea based on the control data, by default, it can guarantee the consistency between the roadbed design tables of interchange complex widening transition conditions, cross section design, pavement design elevation drawing and so on. hintcad use the template drawing to draw the mr-ramp plan layout drawing and pavement design elevation drawing, so users can either flexibly customize the template drawing to fulfill their requirements.
“composite/separate roadbed” and “search interchange nose position” function automate the cross section design of mr and ramp, ramp and ramp at nose section, based on the mr design data, it also automatically calculate the design elevation and pavement cross-slope from ramp starting position to nose position. the latest upgrade pavement elevation drawing function not only support the normal cross slope projection methodology at the mr along the normal direction at the interchange junction, but also support polygonal line projections along the mr, making the design more reasonable and smooth when inclined angle of the mr and ramp confluence junction is larger.
